Self Confidence (Part 1)

How many of us suffer at some stage of our lives from low self confidence? The reasons can be many and varied.
We may have a confidence challenge from the loss of a job situation, a relationship falling apart, low body image, (not content with the way we look), or even seeing ourselves as a totally useless human being.

Whatever the cause, don't despair, there are many ways to overcome these challenges and regain your ascent to high self esteem.

Here are a few hints:

1. Wear clothes that suit you, and colors to complement your own coloring. If you are happy about the way you look your confidence will soar.

2. When you are given a compliment always accept gracefully and affirm that it was given sincerely.

3. Fake it! Put on an act of total confidence. Sit and stand tall with a straight back and you will give the appearance of being a confident person.

Most people have heard of Reiki, but may not be aware of the incredible benefits to mind, body and spirit which it brings.

Reiki is an extremely pleasant, safe and gentle method of healing in which the practitioner lays their hands on areas of the recipient which need energy and healing, and is equally as effective when practiced from a distance.

Reiki increases your feeling of well-being, bringing clarity, peace and harmony into your life.

Reiki brings balance to your whole being, cleansing the body of toxins, and releasing the cause of imbalances and disease, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.

Reiki works only for the highest good of the receiver and promotes a state of total relaxation.

Reiki is a healing option which I thoroughly recommend.

Life's Little Secrets No. 29


Opportunities abound in every area of our lives, many we may not be instantly aware of, many may be huge and life changing, many small but none the less valuable.

When any such opportunity arises, look at it, evaluate and scrutinize it for it's seen and unseen benefits, advantages and possible disadvantages.

Then, if all seems well, if your inner self says "yes," then grasp it with all your might, and embrace it with your mind and emotions, for if you let it slip away, it may never present itself again.
