Winter Help For Tired Eyes

During the cold days of winter we tend to spend more time sitting in front of a cosy fire watching T.V. or at the computer, and our eyes can become over tired and strained.

Try this quick fix. With the forefinger of each hand, press on the inside corner of your eyes, (at the side of your nose) for 30 seconds. This will also eliminate tension from your face and calm emotional stress.

Help For Your Heart!

Did you know that walnuts have a super high content of antioxidents which are of major importance for the protection of your heart.

They also have high omega 3 and 6 levels, which are anti-inflammatory and reduce LDL (bad cholesterol) levels in your blood.

More good news... eating walnuts won't cause weight gain!

The Winter Blues

Many of my clients have found that the darker days of winter can trigger a low mood which in turn can lead to depression if it's not recognised and addressed promptly.

Try to expose yourself to as much light as possible at this time. Flood your room with light as soon as you wake, and a brisk walk at lunchtime (even on a dull day) can lift your spirits. Exercise is a great mood lifter, and has a multitude of additional benefits. Check this article on my website for great tips.
