Happiness

What is happiness? You can compare it to a butterfly. Watch it as it feeds amongst the flowers: reach out to touch it - then it is gone.

But it doesn't have to be so elusive. If we take each day and what it brings with joy and gratitude and seek to draw our strength and happiness from each moment and each new experience, then our lives will indeed be fulfilled and enriched beyond measure.

Try meditation to help restore your mind to it's natural relaxed state of true happiness.

Laughter!

Whilst enjoying a lunch with friends last week I became aware of how much laughter we generated amongst ourselves, and realized how important laughter is in our lives.

The statistics show that a young child laughs about 300 times a day, and adults only approximately 17 times!

Laughter has so many benefits: it is a great stress reliever, it lowers blood pressure, and also stimulates your immune system, is a proven disease fighter, and is a great form of internal exercise: muscles become active and arms, legs and stomach receive a mini workout.

So...enjoy life, laugh at every opportunity, and become a happier, as well as a healthier person, and remember it's impossible to overdose on it!!
